Dr. Abigail Hoang is a board-certified optometrist, who specializes in comprehensive medical care and post-operative care for both cataract and refractive surgery. She also enjoys fitting patients with all types of contact lenses, including soft, hybrid, rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses as well as offering monovision and multifocal options to ensure a patients unique visual needs are met.
Dr. Hoang is a native of northern Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Dr. Hoang has participated in numerous contact lens workshops, and events with manufacturers such as, Johnson and Johnson, Alcon, CooperVision and many more to develop a deeper understanding of how certain medical conditions effect a patient’s ability to successfully wear contact lenses, as well as learn best practices in the industry. She served as vice president of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Contact Lens Club, as well as the Event coordinator of the American Optometrist Student Association to plan workshops, seminars and events for current and incoming students. She was the recipient of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Class of 2024 Conforma Laboratories Award for clinical excellence in contact lens design and application of fitting criteria.
In 2024, Dr. Hoang moved to Colorado after completing her clinical training in ocular disease, including dry eye and diabetic eye disease, comprehensive primary eye care, specialty contact lenses, as well as pre and post care for cataract and refractive surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Hoang enjoys the outdoors, hiking, traveling, reading and working on art projects.
